The Societies Forum

The Societies offers all members the opportunity to network with fellow photographers on our active Forum.

Running a photographic business can be a lonely affair often without the opportunity to interact with other experienced photographers.

Launched in November 2007 the Forum has grown from strength to strength, giving members the ability to share advice, information and get help when needed most.

The Forum has also been a great place to socialise with other like-minded individuals.

The Forum is largely private, this gives users the opportunity to discus business or photographic topics in privacy. To view the posts you have to be both registered as a member and logged in.

What our members say
Why I like the Societies: It's about being part of a community with similar interests. It gives you opportunity to learn, and share. Both are important. - Athol A

Photo Quote: Let us first say what photography is not. A photograph is not a painting, a poem, a symphony, a dance. It is not just a pretty picture, not an exercise in contortionist techniques and sheer print quality. It is or should be a significant document, a penetrating statement, which can be described in a very simple term - selectivity. - Berenice Abbott American Photographer, 1898-1991

Convention testimonials The masterclasses were all good and some were quite exceptional. I have learnt so much again, that made everything I have learnt so far click into place - Matthew
